Jointly hosted by BEIOA, the Ministry of Commerce, and the World Bank–backed EC4J Project, the Bangladesh Light Engineering Expo 2025 gathered 112 exhibitors and over 1,300 visitors to showcase precision components, tools, and industrial sub-assemblies across 50,000+ sq ft. Attendees included manufacturers, exporters, students, and government representatives.

With pavilions, matchmaking sessions, and seminars on Industry 4.0, the expo highlighted Bangladesh’s capacity for import substitution, SME competitiveness, and global integration. The event also featured open discussions with commercial attachés and policymakers on market linkage, innovation, and sector-specific policy support. Despite weather disruptions on Day 1, strong turnout on Day 2 affirmed the sector’s rising momentum.
